The initial call came through on Friday. That guy wouldn't stop going on about how he was representing a phone warehouse. When I inquired how he managed to land my number and mentioned that I was documenting the conversation, he promptly ended the call. The exact same scenario just played out again.

Claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, someone tried to sell me an iPhone Pro Max for just a tenner a month! When I questioned where they’d acquired it, they promptly disconnected the call. Total scam!

The individual on the other end had a rather thick accent, making it quite difficult to grasp anything he was attempting to convey. We decided it was best to hang up.
