I received a call recently from someone with a distinct foreign accent. They claimed that my phone number had been selected for an early upgrade or update. Oddly enough, I don’t even have O2 as my provider. I strongly suspect it's a scam!

Someone pretended to be from O2 trying to scam me by asking for my personal security details. Definitely a phishing attempt!
