Havent given my number out to anyone yet but keep getting calls from 02080584498, just like the other 0208058**** numbers that have been ringing my new phone since April. Def feels like a scam or something fishy going on.

some bloke with an african accent called me, his english was really bad. he said i owed him cash and i had to sort it out in 2 hours by sending money to a bank account he said he'd give me. he also wanted my bank details for where i'd be sending the money from. he warned if i didn’t pay up quick, the police would show up and arrest me. total scam, obviously.

I’ve noticed loads of calls from numbers beginning with 02080584, but the last three digits keep changing. This one, 02080584498, rang but didn’t pick up when I answered. I’ve just ended up blocking all calls from that prefix now.
