I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from “Currys,” talking about a mobile phone deal. The chat felt quite intrusive, as they asked if I possessed an iPhone or a Samsung. I simply responded, “I could inform you, but I prefer not to.” They then inquired, “So, you’re not seeking a new phone?” To which I firmly replied, “I’m definitely not!” It baffles me how Currys got hold of my number; it’s likely another data breach from Facebook or Messenger since I don’t distribute this number freely.

Received a call from a number that didn’t say a word, which was a bit odd. When I attempted to ring the number back, a robotic voice claimed to represent 'EquiFirst'. Unfortunately, none of the options available on the menu seemed to be of any help. I've now blocked the number.

Apparently, Tasha from the Housing Repairs department got in touch. She mentioned that their services are available to all tenants affiliated with the council and housing associations. To my surprise, she seemed to have quite a bit of background knowledge about me, as she not only knew my name but also my address.

They contacted me saying they were from the Housing Repair Hotline, supposedly helping out tenants from councils and housing associations. What threw me off was that they had my full name, but I'm not even a tenant as I own my home. After having a look at other comments, it seems this number has been linked to various other organisations too, which makes me quite certain it’s a scam.

This number has attempted to ring me on two occasions since last night, but rather curiously, I never actually received the calls. Instead, I only got a notification indicating that I’d missed a call, which is rather odd-it feels like it was a ghost call! I tried to return the call, but the line was busy. I’ve decided to add this number to my blocked list as it seems dodgy!

Had a call from a gentleman with an Asian accent who mumbled something I couldn’t quite catch. As soon as I inquired about his identity and the purpose of the call, he hung up abruptly. I've gone ahead and blocked the number!
