Today I got a call supposedly from “Currys” about some sort of phone deal. They asked if I was using an iPhone or Samsung, and I just said I could tell them, but wasn’t bothered. Then they said, “So you’re not interested in a new phone?” and I was like, “Nope, not at all!” No idea how Currys got my number, really. I reckon it’s another one of those leaks from Facebook or Messenger, since I never share this number with anyone.

Got a call where no one said anything, so I rang back. Answer machine came on with a robotic voice saying it was 'EquiFirst', but none of the options I picked did anything. So yeah, I’ve just blocked them now.

Apparently, Tasha from the Housing Repairs department got in touch. She mentioned that their services are available to all tenants affiliated with the council and housing associations. To my surprise, she seemed to have quite a bit of background knowledge about me, as she not only knew my name but also my address.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the Housing repair hotline and helping out council and housing association tenants. They even knew my full name, which was a bit odd since I actually own my flat. After checking the comments, it seems this same number has been pretending to be from various other groups too, so I’m fairly certain it’s a scam.

This number has rung me a couple of times since last night but my phone didn’t actually ring, just showed a missed call notification. Really odd, felt like a silent ring or something. I tried calling back but just got a busy tone. Definitely blocking it now, looks like spam to me.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, he was mumbling stuff I couldn’t understand. When I asked who he was and why he was ringing me, he just hung up straight away. Blocked him after that.
