They rang me at 8:20 in the morning but I just ignored it. Since they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. Definitely looks like another scam call.

I encountered a woman from India whose English was rather challenging for me to grasp. When I asked if there was someone else I could chat with who spoke a bit clearer, she started asking about my age and whether I owned my property. I ended up spinning her a yarn instead!

I got a call from someone with a strange accent and a really weird robot-like voice. He wanted to speak to me by my full name and asked if I could answer a few quick questions, said it would only take 15 seconds. As soon as I said yes, he just ended the call. After checking online, it looks like these calls are a trick to get you to say 'yes' so they can use your voice recording for some dodgy scams. I don’t think I actually said yes properly, but either way he probably had no real questions and just needed a reason to hang up.
