I've been getting calls from this number quite a bit, and every time, it's just dead air on the other end. It's rather odd!

I get calls nearly every day from people saying they’re with the housing disrepair team. Every time I ask them to take me off their list and block the number, but then I get another call the next day, usually from a slightly different number. I'm signed up with the TPS, so I thought they’d stop, but nope. The accent sounds Indian, so maybe they’re outside the reach of GDPR rules or just ignoring them completely.

I received a call from someone who introduced himself as Dany. His accent was quite pronounced and definitely from abroad. Strangely enough, he seemed to have all my personal details, including my name and where I live. He asserted that he was assisting tenants from council and housing association flats in seeking compensation for maintenance problems. Quite the peculiar conversation, I must say!
