What raised my eyebrows was that they had my full name and home address. They warned me that if I didn’t cancel within that period, my debit card would be charged a hefty £79.00. They even provided a number to ring for cancellation, yet I couldn't shake off the feeling of suspicion. To date, there’s been no sign of the promised envelope.

This bloke sounded like he was Asian but trying really hard at a dodgy American accent. He somehow knew my name and where I live, then claimed I’d ordered from their catalogue before - pretty sure that was rubbish. Was pushing gift vouchers and a catalogue on me. When I mentioned I wouldn’t be at that address much longer, he just cut me off straight away.

Just got a call from 020 8056 0512 and it was really unpleasant. An American bloke was on the line asking for me. I politely asked him who he was and what company he represented. Instead of answering, he snapped at me, asking who on earth I thought I was talking to him like that. I was only trying to find out who he was and where he was calling from. Then he shouted some terrible language at me, saying he wasn’t going to listen to me if I kept speaking like that. He hung up about 20 seconds into the call. Honestly, he was such an awful person.
