I didn’t pick up, my iPhone started that “leave your name and why you’re calling” thing with the latest update, and they hung up before even leaving a voicemail. Just from that, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam haha. I looked it up afterwards and saw loads of others saying the same, so that pretty much proves it.

I looked up this number before answering and realised it was one of those scam calls. So, I just blocked it straight away. Cheers!

I keep gettin calls from a bloke with a South Asian accent saying he's from O2. Had about three or four missed calls from numbers like that lately. I just assume it's a scam, so I hang up right away before he can say anything.

Got a ring from this number the other day, some bloke with an Indian accent saying he’s from O2, offering a 20% off deal and wanted my email. I told him I’d get in touch with O2 myself to sort it out. When he insisted on proving he was legit, I just ended the call. Then he rang straight back, so I went ahead and blocked him. Pretty sure it’s a total scam.

Got a call from this number earlier but didn’t pick up. Later, they dropped a voicemail that lasted like 13 minutes, but no one said a single word on it. In the background, I could faintly hear what sounded like chatter from an office or something. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

Beware, this is definitely a scam trying to get you to confirm your email and a one-time code. I nearly got caught by it about 5 years back, so now I’m a lot more cautious. When I confronted the caller, he said he’d be waiting for the police to show up - and even my mum! Proper dodgy behaviour, avoid at all costs.

Just recently, I got a call from this number saying they were from O2. When I told them I wasn’t an O2 customer, they kept pushing to know which network I use. Then, moments ago, I got another call from 0203 261 2124, pretty much the same deal, but they were even more persistent trying to figure out my provider. Looks like no one’s flagged this number so far.

I've come across a scam that's masquerading as O2, offering a whopping 40% off. They're trying to get you to set a new password under the guise of making purchases on your behalf. Quite the dodgy tactic, I must say!

I received a phone call on 29 March 2024 around 14:16 from this number. The caller was a male with a pronounced South Asian accent, claiming to be offering an upgrade to my O2 account. The thing is, I’m not even an O2 customer, so it’s quite evident that this was not a legitimate call from them. They should have recognised that my number isn’t connected to their network. This has all the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me.

On 29 March at exactly 14:16, I got a call from a man speaking with a thick South Asian accent, definitely sounded real, not some robot. He was trying to push an upgrade for my o2 service. I told him straight up I don’t use o2, so he then asked what provider I was with. I wasn’t willing to give that info, and he dropped the call right away. Very dodgy, obviously a scam. Big thanks to the “Who called me” team for keeping track of these rubbish calls. Hopefully we can put a stop to them.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Vodafone, trying to sell me a discount. I told them I don’t use Vodafone, and then they asked which company I was with. I refused to say, telling them I suspected it was a scam. After that, the bloke got really hostile and rude. Blocked the number straight away.

This number was behind a dodgy scam that caught my daughter out. Someone phoned her up, offering a free upgrade on her phone and asked for some security codes she got on her phone, saying it was needed to do the upgrade for her. But instead of getting the actual upgrade, she was sent the wrong gadget. She then, without realising, sent that device to a PO box that was actually run by the scammers. In the end, she was left with a charge for a phone she never really got.

I got a call supposedly from o2 claiming they had a discount deal for me. I told them it sounded dodgy for them to just ring out of the blue with an offer like that. They got really annoyed and ended the call abruptly. Sounds like a scam to me, might even be a spoofed number pretending to be o2.

Loads of people saying this is a genuine O2 number, but don’t be fooled. Scammers can easily fake the number that shows up on your caller ID, so they might make it look like it’s from O2 even when it’s not. I got a call from this number too, and I’m definitely not an O2 customer. Definitely a scam in my opinion.

Got a call about some o2 x thing, looked fishy right away. My go-to trick with dodgy calls is asking “who am I speaking to exactly?” This lot couldn’t even say my name properly. So I just told them to buzz off and ended the call.
