Then they said they could slash my bill by 25%, which sounded pretty tempting. I was almost convinced, but it felt a bit off getting a cold call from the Three promo team, so I just ended the call.

I think this number's being used but getting forwarded somewhere else. They just rattled off random words, throwing in things like 'car' and 'phone' mixed up with some language I couldn't place. I told them, 'This is an English number, but you’re not speaking any English I get.' They kept going anyway. Finally, I just said, 'Get lost.' And the bloke shot back with, 'You too, you bloody idiot.'
