Got a call from this number but they didn’t leave any voicemail. Checked on Who Call Me and turns out it’s linked to a life insurance scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Someone tried to pitch me life insurance, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from 0151 456 0742 and when I mentioned they were probably gathering info to sell for marketing, the guy got really rude. I ended the call, but then they rang me again from a London number. Total scam with dodgy numbers and pushy sales tactics. Definitely block these!

Got a call right around dinner time - that was my first warning sign. Then this bloke started rambling on about some increase in TalkTalk line rental - immediately raised suspicions. He was chatting in a strange broken English, really hard to follow, you know the kind of accent - definitely odd. The kicker? We don’t even have internet with TalkTalk! So I just left the phone near the telly and switched on the Christian channel, figured it might set them straight from all their dodgy fibbing!

Blocking numbers doesn't work coz they just ring from a different one, best thing is to simply not pick up.

I’m really concerned they might ring up someone who’s vulnerable by mistake. First off, they couldn’t even say my name right, then went and called me a totally different one, seemed like they were just guessing. After that, they straight up asked me what my name was. Thought that was a bit dodgy. They started chatting about my gas boiler, but I told them I don’t have one and they just hung up. Suspicious behaviour if you ask me.

Had a few calls around this hour before and all of em came up as possible scams on here. So I just ignored this one too and stuffed it in the block list along with the others!
