I asked what he wanted, and he just hung up on me! I only answered because I’d just left the dog at the vets for a treatment and was nervy it might be them ringing with bad news. These scammers really are so bloody annoying!

Got a call saying, "I'm from your nearby health service. You qualify for a free alert pendant." They never mentioned any clinic or firm, which made me suspicious straight away. Definitely felt like a scam to me. Plus, they weren't on the TPS list, otherwise they wouldn't have phoned. They even woke me up! Feels like they’re aiming at older or more vulnerable folks, which is pretty dodgy.

From what I’ve read in other comments, it’s obvious they’re pushing those alarm pendant things! The whole idea of signing up with the TPS is supposed to block these kinds of calls, but some firms just say you took part in a survey and they’re ringing back about it. It’s a total fib, and this number is definitely ignoring the TPS guidelines! I just let it ring out to voicemail and, surprise surprise, no message was left.

I pressed him again about my age, and suddenly I was only 60, which still isn’t right. I reckon he realised he wasn’t gonna get anything from me, so he just wished me a good day and ended the call.
