I've gotten a couple of calls from this number today, claiming it's a survey. It's really annoying because I'm expecting a personal call and this keeps interrupting. The digits at the end are 0054, and it seems like they're using different numbers. I've decided to block them now.

I’ve had calls from the same lot but with different endings on the number, like 02080280046, and then they mess about with the last two digits like 0048, 0049, 0057, 0059. Most of the time, there’s nothing on the other end, just dead silence. If someone does pick up, it’s usually a guy with an Indian accent, but I can’t really make out what he’s saying. I just block them straight away now.

This number 02080280041 kept ringing me, then they called from 42, 43, 44, all the way up to 49. It’s the same firm that used to go by "UK utilities" and later changed to "Verso UK". They’re actually an Indian outfit using a bunch of UK numbers to scam people and pass details onto other dodgy cold callers. If you do pick up, just mess with them - give them daft names and made up info ’til they get fed up and hang up. After enough hassle, they’ll usually stop bothering you for a bit. Proper annoying but funny!

Somebody rung me like mad today, no joke, my phone went off 8 times in a row around 5.09pm or so. Proper annoying, especially 'cos I was expectin’ a crucial call. This number 020 8028 0049 is really bad. A caller, maybe from India or somewhere abroad, kept asking loads of personal stuff. I told him nicely I wasn’t going to share anything, but then he just yells "shut up shut up shut up" and slammed the phone down on me. Totally rude!

Got a call off someone saying they were from a firm named ukchoice or something like that. The weird part was, this bloke already had my full name and even my address with the postcode. When I told him to take me off their call list, he wouldn't do it and kept asking why. I told him it’s the law that they have to stop calling if I ask, but he just cut me off straight away. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
