There’s a guy named Jack - [email protected][###]. I paid £663 for a ticket which he said was definitely booked, but when I arrived at the airport they said my booking wasn't confirmed at all. After several calls, they finally admitted they'd refund me within 14 working days. It’s been over a month now and the number’s gone dead. Does anyone know if there's any way I can get my money back? Really stuck here!

Theres this guy called Jack [email protected][###] who sold me a ticket saying it was all set. But when I got to the airport, they said the booking was never done. After loads of phone calls, they promised a refund in 14 working days. Its been over a month now and the number they gave me just doesn’t work anymore. I’m desperate to know if theres any way to get my £663 back. Can anyone help or has anyone managed to get their money refunded?

Honestly, I'd steer clear of booking flights through travel agents you’ve never dealt with before. Just go straight to the airlines themselves - it’s way simpler and a lot clearer that way. People always like trying new things, but when stuff messes up, they get all upset. So, my advice? Book directly with the airline and pay with a credit card for peace of mind.

I got scammed by Joy Travel UK after handing over £1450. They gave me a bogus ticket and I was in touch with folks named Max Miller and Ben Collins. Honestly, stay clear of this agency if you value your money. Don't book with them, it’s a total con!

I paid £1450 to Joy Travel UK and they ended up sending me a bogus ticket. I was in talks with two guys, Max Miller and Ben Collins, and honestly it was a complete sham. I wouldn’t trust this travel agency with your bookings at all. Just be careful and avoid giving them any deposit or money. It’s nothing but a scam.

Hey everyone, I really need some advice or suggestions here. We got scammed out of £855 for flights with this company we booked our holiday with. Now when I call them, they’re telling me they’ll refund me, but whenever I ring today, they just hang up on me. Tried going through Action Fraud but no luck there either. If anyone has any tips on what I can do next, that’d be amazing. Here’s their contact info if it helps: 020 8004 9100 / 020 8004 9284. [email protected][###]

These guys managed to scam me out of £1600, and guess what? They’re still out there selling tickets. I reported it to the police, but nothing’s been done so far. Honestly, pretty let down by how the police are handling this.

Had a chat with this jack dawson person earlier, and he keeps pushing back the deadline. First it was today, then tomorrow. Now they want £2500. Totally suspicious if you ask me.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share that I reported this number way back on 24/01/2017. I even went to the cops but they said there's not much they can do. Action Fraud got notified as well, but since then loads of people have fallen victim to scams from this number. Does anyone know if there’s a way to actually catch these scammers? They’re still running around using this same number. It feels like blatant daylight theft.

They scammed me out of £1260, and I never got the tickets or my money back.

Hey, I spoke with them earlier and put down a £200 deposit. Then they rang me back saying the payment didn’t go through. But when I contacted my bank, they confirmed the money had actually been taken. What am I meant to do now??

Unbelievable, really! I never thought there were people out there cruel enough to trick innocent folks like this. Scammers at their worst!

Hey everyone, last week i got calls from some lads named Adam, Ben Collins, and this bloke who said he was Jack Mason. They were very impolite and when i told them i’d report them to the police, they just laughed and said there’s nothing they could do about it. It was proper annoying, they kept calling me names as well. Honestly, these guys need to be stopped and shown some consequences. The numbers were 0121-582-6980, 0161-669-6218, and 0208-004-9100. Hope someone manages to do something about it!

I got a call from them offering flights way cheaper than anything I saw on the internet. They emailed me from an address like @expediaworldwide[###]. Honestly, don’t fall for this! It’s a total scam and you should stay well clear of these people!!!

I got scammed out of £1260 that was supposed to be for my Christmas trip to Kenya. Even though I sent the money via bank transfer, they keep claiming they never got it. These people are total fraudsters. Can anyone help me make sure they get caught? Marie

I've also fallen foul of a scam by Joy Travel. I paid £800 for a flight, and they assured me the booking was sorted. However, when I contacted Etihad, they told me they never got the payment. Now, with the trip coming up, I have no option but to book the ticket again. It's clear these people are con artists and deserve to be held accountable. I've reported the whole thing to trading standards, the fraud department, and Etihad. Not holding my breath on getting that money back though.

Hey everyone, so they used a fake name to book through this global distribution system, but airlines can still trace where these bookings come from. Just wanted to keep you all updated if anything new pops up. Do you reckon we should all team up and file a complaint together?

I got stung by Joy Travel for £540. The two chaps I spoke to were Max Miller and Peter Douglas. They kept promising a refund but I've not seen a penny. I ended up reporting them to Action Fraud. Just recently, the police sent me a letter saying there’s now an investigation underway. Fingers crossed something comes of it! Folks, watch out - if a deal sounds too good, it’s usually not legit, and cheaper isn’t always better.

Hey, I ended up paying £350 for what turned out to be a bogus ticket. Whenever I ring them up, they promise a refund but never come through. I’ve sent recorded letters to multiple addresses, but they keep changing their company name. Turns out, it’s just a call centre in India, not even based in the UK. I’m now sorting it out through my bank and the Citizens Advice Bureau, trying to get my money back. Fingers crossed it works. Please be careful and avoid dealing with these lot - they’re total scammers!

Beware of a company calling itself Joy Travel UK Ltd or Joy Travel Ltd - they’re a complete con. I got charged £3500 for a ticket that turned out to be bogus. It seems they’re working under Crystal Travel as a sort of sub-agent. I’m tracking them down and nearly got their location nailed. The names Max Miller, Steve or anyone else they mention are just made up, plus their addresses don’t exist. Their contact number, 01215826980, is useless too. Avoid them at all costs!

Avoid giving any cash or deposit to joytraveluk, they're total scammers. I spoke with a bloke named James and handed over £200 as a deposit, but the very next day he just stopped answering calls. Then, a few days later, the company seemed to be operating under a different name, something like international travel. Just a heads up to stay cautious when booking with travel agencies, as these dodgy ones change names and disappear.

Avoid ‘Sunlight Travel’ at all costs - they conned me out of £1300. They said there were problems with their bank which is why they couldn’t give me a refund or send my tickets. They won’t take credit cards either and seem to be running the whole thing through a prepaid card, not even a real bank account. Proper scam.
