Today I got a call where the person said they were from BT Openreach and claimed someone was using my IP address. They told me to type something into Google to find my IP supplier or whatever it was. I didn't really trust it so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call this morning around 9:20, just dead silence on the other end then it suddenly dropped.

Got a ring from this number claiming to be from BTOpenreach, saying my BT services were going to be cut off because someone hacked my account from California. I asked them to send me an email as proof, since if they were really BT, they’d already have my email. Then I just ended the call.

I got a call at about 1:15pm on 15th January 2018, and when I picked up I waited for the person to say something. After a short pause, there was this automated voice that just said “goodbye” and then ended the call.
