Got a call today 21/11/2016 from 0115 119 6239 claiming to be Smith Home Care, asking about a recent accident. Don’t really understand the scam, but they said they’d be sending some documents from an insurer. It’s a Nottingham area code but feels fishy to me. Saw something about Saigol Expert Witnesses linked to a 0207 number connected with it too. Seems dodgy!

They rang me up a couple of times about some car crash I supposedly was in. I told them they had it wrong, I’d actually been in a plane crash. They just ended the call. Gave me a good chuckle tho. They waste my time with rubbish calls, so I figured I’d waste a bit of theirs back.

020 7946 2149 calls me off and on but I just leave it. If I was you, I would try not going to answer either. Most of the times, it’s probably about some sort of accident or a dodgy computer scam. Seems a bit risky coz from what others say, they’re after anyone easy to trick, which is why they just drop the call.

He gave his name as David and claimed he was with Microsoft. I told him I actually work for Microsoft and asked for his ID number, explaining that we don’t call random people. He just ended the call straight away.
