I've even told them to f##k off once, and another time said I was locked in a secure metal box and started making odd sounds. Didn't stop them though. I got a call from some place called Pearl Accident Services or whatever, with an automated lady speaking with a proper East London accent asking if I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault. When I finally got passed to the robot’s “manager” and told ‘em I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list and shouldn’t be receiving calls like that, they just cut me off. Feels like those lot are just a bunch of dodgy ambulance chasers calling from a call centre.

Some guy called saying he was from Microsoft Tech Support (like, how many different tech departments do they have??) and that my PC was full of viruses. Got really annoyed when I said it wasn’t true, kept going on about how he’d block my computer. Asked him how on earth he’d do that, but he just babbled nonsense about blocking it. Told him to find a real job. Total scammer!!!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Windows saying my PC was full of viruses. Funny thing is, I’m on a Mac! I kept them on the line for about 11 minutes, which was sort of entertaining.
