Got a missed call earlier today from 0207 946 2017, so I rang back but was met with some automated message saying the number isn't recognised. Bit weird!

Someone rang me up asking if I’d recently had an accident... I told her to take me off their list, but she just kept asking the same question again. I repeated that I wanted my number removed, then there was silence on their end, so I ended the call. Properly frustrating!

Just got a call from a cheeky woman saying I'd been involved in an accident. When I asked for her identity, she shot back with "have you had an accident in the last couple of years?" I told her I’m on the TPS and asked for the company’s name to report them, but she ended the call straight away. Proper rude!

Got a call from a young woman asking if I’d been involved in a car crash, then she just ended the call. Definitely a scam, probably one of those robodialers. Tried calling back but the number's dead, not in use. Be careful, don’t answer these calls - it’s dodgy and could be risky.

Got a call from a lady speaking with a southern English accent, saying there was a car accident involving me. I told her I hadn’t been in any crash, and then she started asking if anyone else in my house had been involved. Once I mentioned I live by myself, she just ended the call. Proper nonsense.

02079462017 keeps ringing me up about some car crash. I’ve asked them loads of times to stop calling and take me off their dialling list, but they just don’t listen. I’m on the TPS, so I should be free of these calls, but this lot just ignores it completely. Really annoying!

Scammers from India pretending to offer help! I managed to keep one on the line for a good quarter of an hour, spinning a tale about being Mr John Major, a government worker who supposedly whizzes about in a sleek black Jaguar, residing at Number 10 SW1A 2AA. I even concocted a story about being shunted from behind in central London last year. The whole charade only came to a halt when he couldn't seem to get the email address [email protected] to work. If they're going to interrupt my day and squander my time, I might as well have a laugh at their expense!

Got a call from a woman with a southern English accent who spoke really badly, like she wasn’t very educated. She told me I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. I told her she must have the wrong number, and she just hung up. Definitely one of those cold calling scams.

Got a call today... here’s a little nugget of wisdom: if the number’s a mystery, just ignore it. If it’s someone you know, their name will pop up on your screen. Do a bit of snooping online to see who it belongs to, report any dodgy ones you come across, and don’t forget to block them. Most importantly, try not to let it ruin your mood; find a way to brush it off. This tactic might not be universal, but it works wonders for me. And hey, feel free to unleash a few choice words for those numpties along the way, haha!

It’s been 8 years since my accident and honestly, these people using old info should get proper action taken against them by the Data Protection Registrar. They’re basically breaking the Data Protection Act by wasting time with out-of-date details.

These ambulance chasers calling from India are relentless. I kept one on the line for about 15 minutes, inventing this whole tale about being Mr John Major, some government bloke with a black Jaguar, who got hit from behind in the heart of London last year. The call only ended when he couldn’t log into John.Major@gmail[###]. Honestly, if they’re gonna bother me and waste my time, I might as well give them a good runaround!

I get calls from this number nonstop. Block one, and they ring from a different one straight away. I'm signed up with the TPS and always careful not to share my number online anywhere. Got a call not long ago from an insurance firm or something like that. At first, nothing but silence when I answered, I was saying “hello?” a few times because I’m in a noisy spot and waiting for an important call. Then they suddenly brought up a car crash, and when I confirmed it, they just went silent and ended the call. Quite frustrating, but hey, these ones can be a bit entertaining to deal with!

I've received two calls from this number while I was trying to catch some rest! I never pick up my phone until I’m sure of who's on the other end. It’s about time we traced these calls and put a stop to it by seizing the assets of the company linked to this nonsense. That would surely deter them from making further calls! I don't understand why the phone providers aren’t blocking numbers like this, especially since they’re clearly not from any important contacts. Get hold of them, confiscate their assets, and I bet the rest would soon think twice before harassing others with such unwanted calls!

I picked up 02079462017 and after a brief pause, a lady with an Asian accent claimed to be from Pearl House Insurance. When I asked who they were, she repeated the name and mentioned something about a car accident claim. I asked which car it was about, and she seemed confused, asking if I had more than one. I told her I’ve got four cars and that I’m in quite a few crashes since I’m blind! She went quiet after that. I finally told her they were scammers and ended the call.
