I got a call from 02079461982, some young woman speaking. She claimed I’d been in a car crash. I told her I work looking into dodgy injury claims and asked what company she was with and where she got my info. She said I was listed on an RTA database, which doesn’t even exist, so obviously she was lying. When I pressed her again about where she got my details, she just hung up. This is typical claims farming, and it’s something insurance firms are trying hard to stop.

Just got a ring from this number and turns out it’s one of those scammy calls. I was messin’ with them as usual, told them my accident happened in Afghanistan, then this lady put me through to some bloke. I asked to be put back through, and then the call just dropped. Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was 'Alex Bailey'. He told me my PC was real slow and asked me to go to some site called help53[###] so he could fix it. When I told him I wasn’t on a computer, he started calling me a virgin, said I was Egyptian, and called me a dumb fraud, saying the call was costing *me* money. I’m curious to see what my phone bill looks like now. Honestly, 6/10 for the entertainment.

Its an automated scam call. They ask if you’ve had an accident in the past 6 months. No real person on the line, it just pauses for your reply and moves on based on that. If you clearly say no, they say sorry and claim they’ll remove you from their list. I decided to block the number just in case.
