I didnt answer this call before so they tried my husbands number with another extension. It was about car accident claims and when hubby was asked if we had any accidents he pretended to play along, making them a bit frustrated. Eventually he said yes and asked how much they’d pay us for compensation? They just ended the call after that.

They said they was from my bank but got the name totally wrong. I told them this and then they kept asking for my bank details. I said no way, so i rang my actual bank and they said it wasn’t them who called. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Some lady called me about a car crash I'd apparently been in, so I said "oh thanks for calling, yeah I've crashed my 3-wheeled Robin Reliant and really need assistance". She seemed proper interested until I dropped that I "caused a 100-car pileup in the street and wiped out the whole area!". After that it went dead quiet! No chance! It's a bit of craic if you've got the time and don't mind winding them up a bit!

She said hang on a moment, she was putting me through to her boss! Then this Asian guy comes on, saying he’s an accident claims officer or something and started asking for my home address. I just told him to do one and hung up straight away.
