I've encountered the same dodgy set-up with the numbers 02079461924 and 02079461913. They either ring you directly or bombard you with a phoney text, all designed to lure you into calling them back. Then there's a nudge to ring a premium rate 0803 number. It’s all quite the con, really! A word of advice: steer clear as these scams seem to be pestering just about everyone. Don’t fritter away your time or cash on this nonsense!

The lady on the phone quickly said something like "I know you’ve just had an accident and it wasn’t your fault," which was actually right. But when I asked her to tell me who she was, which company she worked for, and why she was calling me, she just cut me off and ended the call.

Some bloke sounded like he was speaking from the bottom of the ocean, telling me I’d been in a crash.
