Got a call on my mobile yesterday from some company called Claim Relief Experts, which I've never heard of before. They said it was regarding a car accident I supposedly had recently. I cut them off pretty quickly and ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Guys, seriously, use an app to block all 020 7946 numbers. They just ring from loads of different ones, so blocking the whole lot stops them and helps keep folks safe, especially those who are more vulnerable.

I keep getting calls from these so-called Kilne Relief Experts that seem totally made up. A woman rings me about once a week from an 020 number. Every time I block her, she rings back from a new number. This time I played along and got passed to a ‘supervisor’ who started asking for all my personal info. I quickly ended the call and blocked the number again.

Just got another call from this number. Same woman to start with, telling me I’d been in a car accident. I played along for a bit. As soon as I confirmed it, she handed me over to a guy who sounded Asian and definitely wasn’t calling from an office - more like a home setup. He bombarded me with questions about the crash then asked for my licence plate. I spelled out something rude and he cut the call immediately. These lot are scammers trying to grab your personal info, probably working out of their house. Best thing is to block them straight away.

Tried to find out more about the company. They gave me a website that doesn't actually exist. A Whois search says it’s registered to someone not actually trading. When I asked a few simple questions, the Indian guy just ended the call. Definitely feels like a scam.

This is definitely a scam. At first, you get stuck talking to a bot, some kind of program asking questions. If you say yes to anything, it passes you over to “the supervisor”. I told them to remove my number or I’d have to report them to the cops.

The name they use is 'Claim Relief Experts', but I can't find any proof they're real. Looks like a total con to me. If anyone has proof, I’d say it’s worth telling the cops about the harassment.

Kilne Relief Experts isn’t a genuine business, and I’m fairly certain this call was a scam trying to get personal or bank info. As soon as I questioned them, the caller just hung up. I’ve never had any accident, and there’s no way they had any real Road Traffic Authority data like they said, so it’s almost certainly some sort of fraud. Don’t share your details, and maybe think about reporting them to the Citizens Advice consumer service (I’m not sharing the number here to avoid it looking like a phishing link!).
