I received a call that went dead the moment I picked up! The caller ID just showed as 'Unknown'. Quite odd, really!

Received a rather intrusive call regarding car accidents. I promptly mentioned that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Their response was a bit baffling, claiming I wasn’t listed in their records but they carried on regardless. I told them to hold while I double-checked, and sure enough, I was indeed on the TPS list. Just as I was about to address it, they decided to hang up. The number that rang me was 020 7946 1548.
