I received a call from these people who seemed to have all my details, including my full name, yet they were inquiring about a car crash that I’ve never experienced! I was taken aback and demanded to know how they obtained my number and name. After that, I promptly ended the call. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour!

This morning, I received a call from an 020 number finishing with 999, but I opted not to pick up.

Yet again, it seems we've got the typical chancers attempting to pursue a spurious claim for an incident that never even took place.

I tend to steer clear of answering calls from unfamiliar numbers. A quick bit of sleuthing on Google has shown this to be a dubious number purportedly from London. I have a hunch it might be one of those nuisance calls about 'accidents'... If you happen to get a call from someone you don't know, I'd suggest simply disregarding it and promptly blocking the number. Engaging could just land you in a whole heap of trouble - caller: Unknown.
