Got an automated message on my phone from this number, saying I was 'under investigation' and would be fined if I didn’t call back. Of course, I ignored it. But seriously, why doesn't BT track these muppets down, gather proof by monitoring the calls, and then get them locked up? BT must know where these calls originate since the line’s hardwired. A mate of mine got a call on his own phone from this number, and the person on the other end just started throwing accusations about hacking and using their Wifi without permission. They said if it didn’t stop, they’d get the cops involved. Even after my mate explained it was the wrong number, the caller didn’t back down and kept threatening to report him to the police.
