I kept getting calls, but whenever I picked up, there was just an automated voice. If you don’t answer, they play the exact same message. Surely they’re using some kind of auto dialler to buzz many numbers at once.

Spam calls are everywhere! I've got this answering machine set up just to keep an eye on who's calling. I only bother answering if I actually recognise the voice or it's someone I know and want to chat with. Otherwise, I just let it go to voicemail.

It only rang the one time, which seemed odd to me. Wondering if it’s some kind of third party that gets money based on how many calls they make or something? Can’t really figure it out!

I got a voicemail earlier from some credit control people or something like that. It was really irritating, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number now. Spam for sure!

I saw a missed call and tried ringing 1471 back, but it turned out not to be a real number. Pretty clear that it was spam then.

For a few mornings now, about 9am, I've been getting calls from this number. They never leave any voicemail though. When I tried ringing them back using a private number, it just said the number was invalid. I've now blocked it as a spam caller.
