These individuals abruptly hung up on me.

I received a call from this number, and the gentleman claimed to represent Vodafone. He requested an email address to send over some documentation regarding communication in the business sector and a new technology that Vodafone is supposedly unveiling. We offered our reception email, which has a filter for junk mail, but he insisted that only personal email addresses would suffice. When we declined to divulge our private email and said we could manage without the whitepaper, he simply said, 'Alright,' and hung up. It certainly feels like some sort of scam or attempt to gather email addresses, in our view.

I’ve been receiving calls several times a week from this number and others that are similar. It’s clearly a marketing ploy, probably targeting the manager role. These folks typically attempt to send an email with a link to some sort of white paper on topics like network security or Oracle and the like.

Received a call on our main line from someone seeking this department, ostensibly to "chat" about email encryption. It gave off the impression that they were trying to pitch something.

I need to dispatch an official document to this manager, who seems to act as though she’s quite familiar with the process. The irony, however, is that we were utterly stumped trying to pronounce her name!

It turns out this number belonged to the marketing team at Oracle. They called us earlier today inquiring if we were interested in a white paper.

Just like the last comment I read. I received a call from this number, and the lady on the line claimed to be from Vodafone. She mentioned they require an email address to send over some whitepaper regarding communications in the corporate world and also a new tech initiative that Vodafone is rolling out. We went ahead and shared our business email address, which is what this number is linked to. The call lasted barely half a minute. Here’s hoping the whitepaper turns out to be worthwhile!

Seems rather fishy, doesn't it? I received a call on my business line from what appeared to be a marketing outfit, and they asked specifically for our manager by name. Oddly enough, they didn't leave any message but claimed they had an important email to share with him. The chap on the other end introduced himself as Sharner, Scharner, or was it Sharna? Regardless, we have no recollection of him or his company. Quite peculiar, I must say! And to top it off, this lot hails from the UK.

Just like the earlier comment, I received a call from this number. A lady claimed to be from Vodafone and asked for an email address to forward an official document regarding comments on their technology services and some new launch from Vodafone. We gave her our business email, which is this one. The call didn’t last more than half a minute! Here’s hoping the whitepaper turns out to be worthwhile!

It seems she's eager to forward a whitepaper to this manager, all the while behaving as if they’re well acquainted. Quite amusing, really, considering she couldn’t even say her own name correctly!

I recently received a call from this number, where the caller claimed to be affiliated with Vodafone. They insisted on needing an email address to share a whitepaper regarding some communications within their business and an innovative technology that Vodafone supposedly has in the works. We offered our reception email, which is equipped with junk filters, but she outright rejected it, insisting she could only send the information to personal email addresses. When we declined to provide our personal contact and said we could manage without the whitepaper, she simply replied, "Alright," and hung up. In our view, this has all the hallmarks of a scam or an attempt at email harvesting.

I received a call from this number earlier today. When I answered, there was silence on the other end, and they promptly hung up. Quite bizarre, to say the least!
