4 yearsI got an email claiming to be from Casper Loans, and then they called me. The whole thing seemed dodgy, so I decided to check out the number and, as I thought, it was a scam. They kept pushing some loan deal - like £1000 over two years with payments of £47.81 a month. Then they rang me again from the same number, trying to pressure me into accepting the loan quickly, asking for my bank sort code and account details. I’m not daft enough to give them anything, especially since I never applied for any loans or heard of this company before. They run their loan business under loads of different names and all their managers seem to have the same phone number. First, they say you’re approved for a loan, then they want you to pay £25 for “insurance.” After that, they tell you your money will only be paid out after another £125 fee.
