Got a phone call from +442078154819 today, some fake American voice warning me about tax evasion and threatening legal action from HMRC. They told me to press 1 to sort out a fine before they supposedly send someone to arrest me. It smelt fishy right away since I've always paid my taxes properly and never heard of anything like this. Plus, why would HMRC use an American-sounding automated system? Definitely a scam. Make sure to warn others who might be tricked by this. I've already reported it to HMRC.
