Got a call from someone claiming to be from Halifax Bank, but something felt off. She started asking if I had critical illness insurance, which seemed odd. Didn’t ask any security questions or anything to prove it was legit, so I just ended the call. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were a mortgage advisor "from the bank where I hold my mortgage." I rang up my real mortgage company afterwards, and they said the number wasn’t familiar to them at all. Definitely sounded dodgy.
