A chap rang me claiming to represent an energy firm that specialised in slashing business gas and electricity bills. He was insistent that he wouldn't be able to assist without specifics from my utility bill. Quite the bother, really, as he wouldn’t take no for an answer and seemed rather annoying. I didn't divulge any details. It felt incredibly sketchy, as he avoided answering any of my queries with transparency. Definitely had the vibes of a scammer about him.

This particular number seems to ring my mobile incessantly-it's around three times daily! They usually bother me at roughly 9:15 in the morning, then again around midday, and for good measure, they try me once more at about 3 PM. I did pick up the first time they called, but it was simply silence on the other end. Now, I've taken to just letting it ring without a second thought.
