Got a call saying there was an issue with our internet connection, but I wasn’t buying it and told them off. My husband just cut the call, telling them to buzz off.

So this lady with a weird American accent rang me up claiming there was some dodgy stuff going on with my BT broadband and that I should press 1 to chat with a BT tech. Obviously, I wasn't falling for that nonsense. Felt like she thought I was an absolute muppet. Total scam, 222.
