10 yearsThese individuals are nothing short of con artists. They pretend to represent BT and insist on acquiring the direct email address of the Financial Director under the guise of sending an "important legal document." Apparently, no other email will do. Having worked as a receptionist for three decades, I can usually sniff out a scam call from a mile away. When I mentioned that I wouldn’t share the direct email address, the woman abruptly hung up on me. Curious about the number, which wasn’t blocked, I did a quick search and discovered it led back to Petrus-Knightbridge Restaurant, part of the Gordon Ramsay chain. I promptly called that number to inform them of the scam attempt, and the lady I spoke to confirmed they've had numerous similar complaints. It’s a total SCAM! They are definitely not affiliated with BT, so be vigilant and don’t share any personal information. I suspect they might use the stolen email to perpetrate fraud against customers.
