Got a call from some robot saying I had a warrant for tax evasion or something, said if I wanted details I should press 1, otherwise they'd send someone round to arrest me. Totally sketchy!

Got a call from some bloke today claiming my internet was running slow. I told him straight up he was a fraud, and when he started getting all nasty, I hit back with a bit of cheek - said I'd got some big news for him about his mum. He didn't seem too happy about that!

Got three calls from this number earlier today. An Asian bloke picked up and claimed there was an issue with my internet. I sussed out pretty quick that it was a con, so I left him hanging on the line for a bit. When I finally spoke again, he started telling me to "cut the chatter and pay attention." I wasn’t having any of it and told him off in no uncertain terms.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach about some internet problems I'd been having. I thought it was legit and let them access my computer remotely, but then it dawned on me it was a scam. I cut off the remote connection straight away and the caller got really rude and pushy. I've reported the whole thing to the police now. Definitely won’t fall for something like this again.

This number has rung me twice already. The first time they just cut off, and the second I didn’t pick up. BT really ought to do something about these callers.

Got a ring from an Asian woman who said my internet was running slow. Then she handed me over to some bloke who told me there was an issue with my Sky bill not being settled. Seriously, he asked me to confirm my account digits, but I flat out refused. He started getting all pushy, so I just ended the call.

I got a call from this number, nobody said anything at first, then some robot voice popped up saying thanks before just hanging up. Quite odd!

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was from BT Openreach. She told me my internet speed was too slow. When I told her I’m not a BT customer, she quickly asked if I was with Virgin. I just chuckled and told her she clearly had no idea who I get my internet from. Right after that, she hung up on me. Tried ringing back the number she called from, but it just said the number wasn’t recognised. Just another scam, I reckon!

Haha, so they just rang me a moment ago, and I told them my name was Mr Throat Warbler Mangrove. Figured why not have a bit of fun with it! Also, big shoutout to Mr Luxury-Yacht - RIP Graham Chapman, legends only!

I stayed quiet and the call just got cut off. It was a silent call.

Whenever someone asks for my name, I just tell them it’s Raymond Luxurt Yach-t, but the proper way to say it is Throatwarbler Mangrove!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Openreach. He said my internet was running really slow and asked if I’d noticed. I told him no, but while he was still on the phone, I ran a speed test. After a bit, he just gave up and hung up. Shame, because I never did figure out what the scam was supposed to be.

I've been getting calls from someone claiming to be from BT, and they've definitely got a thick Asian accent. They keep asking for my broadband information and other details. Honestly, it's a right nuisance! I wouldn’t engage at all; just hang up immediately!

Got loads of calls where no one speaks, really annoying. Tried blocking the numbers but they just keep coming back.

Had a weird call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT. Could barely understand him and ended up messing about with him for nearly 10 minutes. Watch out, they’re trying to get access to your computer!

I got called three times in just a couple of hours, first claiming to be from Openreach about some internet issue. The second time, the caller said they were from Ofcom and warned our internet would be cut off in 24 hours because of alleged hacking linked to our IP. By the third call, nobody said a word, just the background noise of a busy call centre. Seemed really dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach saying there was a problem with my internet. They started throwing technical mumbo jumbo at me that didn’t really add up. The whole aim was to get me to install teamviewer so they could take over my PC, probably to put some dodgy software on it. Total scam, be careful!

She told me she was with some company, but honestly, watch out, could be a scam.

I answered and there was silence on the line, but I could just about hear some muffled chatting like a call centre. Decided to block the number straight away.

They claim they’re with Openreach, then ask you to say your name, but as soon as you do, they just cut the call.

Got a call at 9:51 on the 28th of June from the typical scammer with that same annoying ‘audio signature’. They didn’t bother trying to chat, just launched straight into telling the person on the other end to go have sex and travel or something daft like that. Pretty standard scammy nonsense really.

Some guy claiming he was from BT Openreach has called me three times today, each time from a new number. I even got a call from a different number yesterday too. When I asked him to say my name, he just guessed and got it totally wrong before cutting off. What a muppet!

Lately, I keep getting calls like this. It’s usually someone Asian, sometimes a bloke, other times a woman. They claim to be from BT, but I just hang up straight away.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT's support team, talking about some issue with my internet. I quickly told her BT isn’t actually my provider, and she just cut me off right away - didn’t even get a chance to say a proper word. I’m absolutely sick of these calls popping up out of nowhere. Makes me so angry thinking about all the people who get duped by this nonsense.
