If you're on an iPhone, you can stop these calls by blocking the number. I reckon Countrywide estate agents must’ve got hold of my phone number via Rightmove, Zoopla or maybe Reeds Rain. I probably missed ticking those tiny consent boxes hidden in the fine print when I enquired with a local estate agent not long ago. They've been ringing non stop, even on Sundays from 9 in the morning! It’s been happening all week long, really annoying.

If you’re on an iPhone, you can stop the nuisance by blocking the number. Just head to your recent calls, tap the little ‘i’ next to the number, scroll right down and hit ‘block’. I reckon they got hold of my digits from one of those property sites like Rightmove or Zoopla. I vaguely remember ticking a box or two (probably hidden in some fine print) when I got in touch with a local estate agent recently, maybe giving them permission to share my info. I was getting these calls non-stop, every single day, even starting at 9am on a Sunday! Such a pain.

It’s really good there’s now options where you can check who’s ringing without having to actually pick up - so many dodgy numbers just keep getting sold on to god knows who, and if you answer, you’re just confirming your number’s active.
I’m dealing with this same number ringing me like 3 or 4 times every day and honestly, it’s a right nuisance. At least now I can just let it ring off and not freak out thinking it might be someone from my family trying to get in touch with urgent news!

I'm getting nonstop calls and it's driving me mad. I've decided to start texting the number every day with messages like "STOP RINGING THIS NUMBER" but using way harsher language to try and get them to quit. Hopefully that sorts it out.

This number keeps ringing me about 3 or 4 times daily. Whenever I pick up, there's nobody there! Feels like some call centre stuck on repeat. Turns out it’s Countrywide (the estate agents). Are these the same folks who brag about being the UK’s biggest and most successful estate agency and property services group? Yeah, apparently the call was from their so-called Customer Care Team. What kind of 'care' was that? Reaching out multiple times a day with nothing important to say? Seriously? Alright Countrywide, here’s the truth - you’re terrible. I wouldn’t dream of using your services or anything linked to your name. Why? Because you’re just wasting my time and probably other people’s cash with endless pointless calls every day. Don’t you have better things to do? Customer Care department - maybe try actually learning what customer care means. If you can’t read this, maybe that explains the robotic calling. Honestly, back to school with you lot.

Got a ring from this number at about 1:19pm on 20/2/14, but the caller dropped off as I picked up. By mistake, I dialed it back while trying to copy the digits for a lookup, and ended up on an answerphone. It said something like "Thanks for getting back to Countrywide Estate Agents. Your call isn't urgent, we'll return it later." I haven’t been in touch with any estate agents in ages.

So I called the number and it just led me to this recorded message saying it’s Country Wide Insurance Services. If you want, you can enter your phone number to get taken off their list. Not that it helps much tho, since seems like loads of people already have this number, probably why it’s ringing so much!
