4 yearsI reckon this might be one of those dodgy forex scams, watch out lads!7 yearsthis number keeps ringing me up loads recently, like 4 or 5 times each week for about 5 weeks now. they say they're from bt and that there's sketchy stuff happening on my internet and i need to chat with them to sort it out. obviously, i never bothered answering.BT7 yearsOver the past few days, I’ve gotten a handful of calls from different London numbers claiming to be "Microsoft" saying my computer is infected with a virus. Classic scam stuff - they want to rip you off or maybe put some nasty software on your machine. Total waste of time.Microsoft7 yearsThis number called me, but I didn’t pick up. Afterwards, I used 1471 to see who had rung. Oddly, when I checked my answerphone, there was no message left. Then, curious, I called the number back myself. A recorded message came on saying the number wasn’t valid or something similar. I hung up, tried 1471 again quickly, and that worked fine. I even called my own number from another phone and everything behaved as expected. Bit strange, honestly.7 yearsI got a voicemail from this number on my answering machine. It was some automated voice saying that my IP address had been hacked and that my service would be cut off in a day. They said someone was trying to reach me but never said who. They told me to call back and press 1 to talk to a tech person. I didn’t bother returning the call. Seems like a total scam to me.Submit Your Own Report (020 7498 4780)
