10 yearsI've just had a rather alarming encounter with a chap on the phone who spoke with an Indian accent. He was making fraudulent claims and attempting to access my bank account from afar. They tried to convince me that they were issuing a refund for some supposed service they performed on my computer, quoting amounts between £299 and £599, tied to a company named Myallengate. Their tactic involved persuading me to wire an "excessive refund" while they were actually plotting to siphon money from my account. It's clearly a sophisticated international scam! I'm certain of it!Myallengate10 yearsI picked up my phone only to be greeted by someone named "Frank," who had a distinct Indian accent. The moment he began to speak, I ended the call. To my surprise, he immediately rang me back multiple times-around ten calls within the span of twenty minutes! At one point, it felt like he was calling me every couple of minutes. I decided to block his number, but then he switched tactics and started calling from an unknown number.Frank10 yearsAvoid contacting this number at all costs! It's a classic scam pretending to provide a £299 reimbursement on an old agreement, claiming they're out of business. Their grasp of English is quite poor, to say the least. Stay vigilant!10 yearsI’m being bombarded with calls from this number-like thirty times each day! It's infuriating! When I pick up, all I hear is a load of static and some muffled speech that I just can’t decipher. The maddening part is if I attempt to use my phone right after, they’re back at it, pestering me again! I really need this to end-it's driving me absolutely mad!10 yearsIt seems to me that this number is linked to some dodgy scam activity. I was told they had to refund me £299 since they were shutting down. The catch? They insisted they were affiliated with Microsoft. If you happen to get a call from these folks, please don’t divulge any personal details!MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (020 7387 3893)
