The caller was quite adamant about an alleged issue with our internet connection, despite the fact that I've been working from my laptop all morning without any interruptions. She inquired about the number of devices we had connected and pressed us to use our laptop to follow her instructions online, purportedly to demonstrate the supposed fault. It all felt incredibly dubious since we were not experiencing any problems at all. Even after we chose to hang up, they were persistent enough to ring back again, which we then opted to ignore.
