I signed up with UK Models and honestly, it was a total waste of time. Don’t be tricked by them - they’re not a real modelling agency and won’t promise you any work. The whole thing just seems like a cash grab. They want you to pay a £50 deposit upfront, but good luck getting that back. After that, they come up with some crazy charges for photos too. They might sound nice on the phone, but it’s just a front to get your money.

Beware of UK Models - it’s not a proper modelling agency but more of a modelling search outfit. They lure you in with a free photo shoot, hoping you'll want to pay for a portfolio afterwards. But the prices are ridiculously high, starting at £1599 and going up to £4,000. They don’t promise any jobs or work; instead, they just say they’ll help build your portfolio, and then you’re left to find gigs yourself. I’m glad my daughter’s photoshoot was complimentary because honestly, the pictures didn’t feel worth the hefty prices they charge. That said, on the day of the shoot, the team was quite polite and very welcoming.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from a modelling agency, but it was all dodgy! They wanted my bank card details to pay a £50 deposit for a booking. Total scam, definitely a spammer! Don’t hand over any personal info to them, it’s just a trick to steal your money.
