Claiming to be from the World Lotto Corporation, they informed me that I'd bagged a prize of 10,000 Euros. However, when I mentioned that I'd never entered their lottery, the call mysteriously cut off. Definitely a scam!

Absolutely unbelievable! Hearing all that office chatter in the background, what a bunch of complete muppets! How on earth did they obtain my phone number? It’s not listed anywhere!

This phone number appears to be a scam. They often call claiming that you are owed money from different sources. If you happen to share any personal details or voucher codes-which I'm unsure how they get a hold of-they will likely pilfer any funds that might be rightfully yours. It’s crucial that you don't divulge any information to them, and make it clear you're aware of their deceitful practices before hanging up. Also, consider registering your number with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to protect yourself from such nuisances. It allows you to report them for making calls without your consent, which is certainly worth doing.

It seems that my mother-in-law, who’s well into her seventies, keeps receiving calls from these persistent individuals. Thankfully, she's quite sharp and hangs up as soon as they start claiming she owes money on a mortgage that was settled ages ago. I strongly recommend steering clear of this number and reporting them. From now on, I'll encourage her to tell anyone who dares to ring her up that I’m aware they’re just trying to swindle her out of her hard-earned cash.

Had a bell this morning, 1st March at around nine. The caller seemed to know who I was, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up. After some time, I went to check the number. I'm curious whether they'll ring back again!

They rang me up claiming to be from UK Claims Management, saying that the Ministry of Justice had given them the green light to reach out to individuals who had cleared their mortgages from 1970 to 2009, hinting that we were owed some sort of compensation. Strangely, they had no clue whose name was on the mortgage, the sum involved, or which bank it was with. When I refused to divulge any personal details and requested some documentation to be sent my way, they abruptly cut the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
