I can't say for certain that this number was the one that left me a voicemail, but I did miss a call on my mobile and shortly after, a voicemail appeared. So, I’m assuming it’s linked to that call. I replayed it a few times to get it down word for word. It stated something like: "Neglecting this information will be regarded as a deliberate effort to evade initial proceedings before magistrates, which could result in your National Insurance number being suspended." It also mentioned a 'case number' - 2018 8170 - and instructed me to contact the 'Investigation Department on...' but the message cut off before I could catch the phone number. The voice was an automated male that sounded quite garbled and broken up. I suspect it’s a scam!
