I got a call from this number earlier today on my home phone that has an 0208 code. Strangely enough, they didn't bother to leave a message. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a rather frustrating message saying, "the number you’ve dialled is unrecognised." I tried multiple times, really making sure I was dialling it correctly each time. Odd, isn’t it?

This number has been giving us a bell now and then for the past few weeks. Every time we pick up, a young lady requests to speak to someone using a fictitious name. When we inform her that she’s got the wrong number, she promptly hangs up. After the initial few times this occurred, we did make it clear that we were not the right contact for whoever she was looking for. Quite puzzling, really!
