10 yearsFrom what I’ve gathered, this looks like a London area code used by VOIP calls that come from any place worldwide to reach a London number. When using VOIP, the call has to go through an exchange that converts it back to the traditional landline system so it can connect outside the internet. For example, when I call my mum in London from Australia using VOIP, this number often shows up on her caller ID, even though it’s not my actual VOIP number. Normally my number should display because it’s meant to be 'over stamped', but UK exchanges seem unable to display it correctly and just show the local exchange number instead. Basically, anyone could be calling you on this number and you won’t really know who it is until you answer. Hope this clears things up!LondonAustraliaUK10 yearsThis number has been ringing me up about computer issues nonstop. Even though I’m registered with the TPS, these calls keep coming through. It’s pretty annoying!TPS10 yearsSome bloke rang me saying they could fix all the issues on my PC. I chatted with them for nearly 10 minutes, but when they asked me to give them remote access, I hung up. I tried phoning back, but it said the number wasn't recognised. Then they rang me again a couple of times, but the caller ID just showed "unavailable".10 yearsI tried to get their name through my call blocker but they refused to say, so now they’re blocked for good.Submit Your Own Report (020 7241 2778)
