Got a call to my husband at 8:10 this morning. The first call dropped straight away, then they tried ringing him three more times after that. Each time he just hung up on them. After the fourth attempt, they finally gave up. Seems like they reckon if they keep phoning, you'll eventually answer - well, not in our case!

I’ve had a similar thing, got calls thrice today from various numbers all beginning with 0207. It’s a bit unnerving hearing the voicemail, especially since I’ve never done anything wrong. I’ve gone ahead and blocked all those numbers now and just plan to keep ignoring them. Fingers crossed I don’t end up in the nick tonight!

Somebody rang me saying I’m involved in tax evasion and there's supposedly a warrant for my arrest. They keep pushing you to call back for details, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam and any reply might end up costing loads, especially if it goes through some dodgy international line. Real police never call to give you a heads-up about being arrested. These people are just scumbags trying to scam scared folk. Honestly, I'd love to have a chat with one of them in a locked room for a bit.
