Just last week, it was supposedly O2, and before that Virgin Media, all using the exact same phone number. Do they honestly think people are that daft? At least before they used to be polite and say something like "Thanks and have a nice day." Today, as soon as I said I wasn’t interested, they hung up right away. Proper rude behaviour.

I tried ringing back but it just wouldn’t go through, so I’m certain it’s a fake number. It reminded me of those Carphone Warehouse scams, much like the HMRC fraud calls that come from centres in India. Got a call from someone with a really thick accent, claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse.
