We had a remarkably similar experience, albeit in Nottingham. We were told to return for a second interview, only to find ourselves shoved onto a bus to Derby, where we were promptly tasked with cold calling. As soon as we realised what was happening, we made it clear that this wasn't at all what we had signed up for, and we decided to head home. To top it all off, they just abandoned us in Derby without any guiding directions on how to get back. Honestly, don't waste your time with the second interview. It's not worth it!

If this is indeed a scam, then one has to wonder why the authorities haven't stepped in to shut them down. After all, these individuals haven’t exactly packed up and moved elsewhere; they remain in the very same spot. It’s quite curious, isn’t it? Gary, it’s as if these folks keep altering their names as if it’s a perfectly normal thing to do. Rather suspect, don’t you think?

Cheers for all your thoughts, everyone! We've got a follow-up interview in Nottingham lined up for tomorrow, and your insights have just spared us eight hours and quite a bit on fuel. Much appreciated!

We had a remarkably similar encounter, albeit in Nottingham. We were told to return for a second interview, but instead found ourselves herded onto a bus headed for Derby, only to be thrust into making cold calls. We promptly communicated that this was far from what we had signed up for, and decided to head home. To top it off, they abandoned us in the heart of Derby without a clue on how to get back! Honestly, save yourself the trouble and skip the second interview. It’s a right waste of time!

Hello everyone, just wanted to chime in and share that we received the exact same message. It's quite disheartening to think about how these individuals have access to our personal information. Honestly, I’m rather miffed by the whole ordeal. We haven’t reached out to them whatsoever, yet there's this strong urge to confront them about their dubious practices. We had our suspicions about this being a scam, especially since their website was acting up-always a red flag, isn’t it?

We've recently received an email from a company named London Marketing Services, listed at LOWER GROUND FLOOR, SHAND HOME, 14-20 SHAND STREET, LONDON SE1 2ES. They prompted us to reach out for an initial chat at these numbers: T: 020 7234 3560, F: 020 7234 3569. Oddly enough, they haven't made any calls to us yet! It certainly feels like a scam, as we've attempted to reach them ourselves with no luck.

I’ve received an interview invite from Monster Marketing Direct and can’t help but wonder if this outfit has a reputation for being a bit unscrupulous. Has anyone else had a dodgy experience with them?

Have a gander at our recent blog post detailing our escapades with marketing services in London from earlier this month. It’s quite extensive, so I won’t paste it all here. Just pop over to livony. blogspot. com/2009/08/london-marketing-services.html to have a read!

Blimey! We went through a prominent online recruitment agency and received an email instructing us to ring the number above for an interview. We made the call earlier today and had the interview, but now after seeing this, I honestly doubt whether I’ll be heading there after all. What a turn of events!

Hi there! We’re in a bit of a predicament and could really use your assistance by tomorrow. Earlier today, we received a call regarding a possible interview for a marketing position in London. However, after reading quite a few reviews, we're having serious second thoughts about attending. Are things really as dire as they’re depicted in those comments? Any insights would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

It’s pretty clear that the recent remarks are just a ruse for EA Worldwide. Opportunity, my foot! These folks seem to vanish within a fortnight, clearly not raking in any dosh whatsoever. Must have been a splendid couple of weeks toiling away for nothing. What a bunch of nitwits!

Hello everyone! I attended an interview recently and received a callback almost immediately for a second one. Makes you wonder if they ever say 'no' to anyone, doesn't it? Anyway, I returned the following day and had the opportunity to shadow one of the current employees. We made our way to a rather dodgy area via the Tube and did some door-to-door outreach. Honestly, that’s something we’d never consider doing in the dark, especially in winter! It’s quite alarming, really! They seem to have a constant stream of candidates coming through for interviews, which is quite mad! I’m relieved we chose to steer clear of any association with them!

Earlier today, around half past six this evening, we received a rather peculiar call informing us that we'd been selected for an interview tomorrow at half four. The trouble is, we can't recall ever applying for a position there. It's left us a bit puzzled about whether we ought to attend or not. We certainly don’t fancy trekking all the way to London Bridge only to discover that it was all a misunderstanding. What a bother! Uncertainty is quite the nuisance, isn't it?

We put our names forward for a marketing and sales role at EA ACQUISITIONS yesterday, and to our surprise, we received an email almost immediately inviting us to a preliminary interview scheduled for a couple of weeks down the line. However, after reading some feedback, we've had a change of heart and are now uncertain about attending. Also, we couldn't help but notice that the receptionist seemed to have an accent that was a blend of Australian and South African.

Hello there! We received an email and a phone call informing us that we’re a good fit for the LMS. We were supposed to attend an interview earlier today, but it seems we won’t be spending our fare for the tube. I'm really appreciative of all the advice shared here. Thank you ever so much!

I’ve just received an email regarding a preliminary interview with EA, and to be honest, we were quite sceptical as it felt like a scam. Though we haven't attended the interview, I thought it important to give a heads up to others about similar dubious schemes, like “devere & wives” and those jobsindubai.com con artists. They all seem to ask for payment upfront and it's dodgy, to say the least! I’d strongly advise against hunting for jobs online; the best opportunities are often found in local newspapers, career hubs, and reputable recruitment publications!

Hello everyone, I've got an interview lined up with Innovations Marketing for tomorrow. I spotted the salary range advertised on Reed.co.uk, which states it’s between £15,000 and £20,000 per year. However, after perusing some feedback, I’m starting to feel a bit uneasy about whether this is worth my while. I really can’t afford to keep commuting into London for what might turn out to be a pointless interview. I recently attended one with GOGEN, where I spent the entire day alongside a bunch of other hopefuls, and I can only guess we all received similarly disheartening emails later on. Any guidance or insights would be greatly valued!
