Someone called pretending to be from my internet provider saying my connection was slowing and that there was an attempt to hack me. They then told me to install this app called Alpemix. Things felt off when they suddenly asked about my bank details. I went ahead and downloaded the app but found loads of warnings online saying it’s dodgy. I called them out on it being a scam and immediately ended the call, then removed the app from my phone.
