I received a call today while I was away from my phone. It was a bloke on the line, but he didn’t leave a message. When I tried to return the call, it came up as an unavailable number. After doing a bit of digging, it seems like these callers might be a bit suspicious after all.

Hello there! I received a rather dubious call from this number at noon today, which happens to be a Thursday. The person on the other end claimed my computer was malfunctioning and proceeded to request some information from me. She even wanted me to click on a link, but I quickly realised it was a scam. I challenged her about how she could possibly rest easy knowing she was deceiving people, and she promptly hung up on me. Quite the experience, I must say! Cheers, Bill Lucas

Received a call from this number earlier, a lady claiming to be Anna from some sort of desk help service. We promptly ended the conversation.

I received a call from a woman with a foreign accent who claimed she needed to verify some security issues on our computer. As soon as we declined to cooperate, her tone noticeably shifted, and she seemed rather upset.

I received a call from someone with a heavy accent who insisted that I sit in front of my computer. Please don’t fall for this - the caller claimed to be David Miller and was incredibly insistent. My advice? Just say no, no, no!

Received a call around 1:32 PM from a chap claiming to be inquiring about our computer issues. I hung up straight away as it felt like a blatant scam.
