I recently received a call regarding a loan I applied for. The chap claimed to be calling from Afghanistan, but what really irked me was his vile remark directed at my wife, calling her a “black b****.” I must be seeing things wrong, as I thought I understood the situation perfectly! My wife certainly didn’t take it lying down and gave him a taste of his own medicine, which led to him abruptly ending the call. It was an utterly unacceptable encounter; best to simply disconnect and move on.

I had a rather unpleasant encounter with a Chinese lady who treated me with utter disdain, as if I were nothing but scum. After I turned down her ridiculous loan offers, she completely lost the plot and became incredibly aggressive. It was unsettling, to say the least. In the end, my husband had to step in because her behaviour had really rattled me.
