That number keeps ringing our house incessantly, almost every half-minute! Honestly, what on earth do they want? We've given up on answering altogether, yet every time we check 1471, it’s the same pesky number. It’s become quite tiresome. We’re supposed to be ex-directory, so how on earth are these folks getting hold of our number? It's all rather baffling!

Not long after, I contacted Sky’s customer service to confirm the legitimacy of the call and discovered it was a scam. I immediately reached out to the bank to report the incident, and thankfully, they cancelled the card.

I received a call just like the one described, using the same number, and they claimed to be offering a couple of discounts on a Sky maintenance package. They mentioned that we had Sky+, which we definitely do not, and that raised a red flag for me. Then the caller asked me which bank my payments were through and even managed to provide the first four digits of my card, which seemed pretty standard. When they went on to ask for the rest of the digits, I decided to hold back and not give any further information. It felt rather dodgy, to say the least!
