3 yearsI got something similar. This bloke called Taylor Smith contacted me through email about a job at ExxonMobil UK. He wanted my CV, current pay, what I hoped to earn, how long my notice period was, and the role I was doing. Then he sent another email with an offer that was way better than what you'd expect, with perks that seem too good to refuse. But the thing is, his offer was way above the going rate here in the UK, like nearly double what’s usual. I’d already sent him my CV in the first reply. When the second email with the job offer came through, I got suspicious and looked him up on this site. Turns out, this guy's a scammer targeting people on LinkedIn. Be careful who you share your info with or you could end up with your identity stolen.Taylor SmithExxonMobil UKUKLinkedIn3 yearsOn the 5th of December, I received an email from [email protected] mentioning this phone number, claiming I was chosen for a high-paying job at a company called ExxonMobil International Limited, supposedly located at 1 Union Wynd, Aberdeen AB10 1SL, Scotland. When I tried ringing the number, the operator told me it was invalid.
