He promised an enticing offer that far exceeded my expectations, complete with benefits you wouldn’t want to refuse, in his follow-up message. However, the figures he tossed around were wildly out of sync with the typical rates in the UK, as he was offering me double what would usually be considered a comfortable salary in the area. After I provided my CV in response to his initial inquiry, I received the second email detailing the job offer, which raised a few red flags for me. That’s when I decided to do a bit of digging and found this site. It seems this fraudster is preying on professionals on LinkedIn. Be wary about sharing personal information; it’s crucial to protect yourself from identity theft!

I received an email on the 5th of December from [email protected], stating that I've been chosen for a lucrative position with a firm based in Scotland, specifically ExxonMobil International Limited, located at 1 Union Wynd, Aberdeen AB10 1SL, Scotland. Out of curiosity, I attempted to dial the number provided, only to be informed by the operator that it was incorrect. It’s starting to seem like a scam to me!
